Disabled and Enabled

The world just sees I’m disabled, 

I choose to live fully enabled.

People try to limit me through labels,

But to me these are nothing but fables.

When it comes to my soul only I have possession,

Because my independence is my obsession.

I see the world through the windows of oppression,

But I have too much pride to cause me depression.

I use words to fight ignorance like a weapon,

I destroy the unconscious with the blade of expression.

I choose to live fully enabled,

Try to stop me and you might become disabled.
